Terms & Conditions of Service

1. Agreement & Scope

These Terms apply to all painting, decorating, paperhanging, and renovation services provided by Simon's Painting & Decorating to domestic and commercial clients across Felixstowe, Ipswich, and Suffolk.

2. Quotations & Pricing

• All estimates and written quotations are provided free of charge and remain valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue.
• Quotations include labor, surface preparation, and agreed materials (such as Crown Trade, Dulux Trade, or customer-specified designer wallpapers).
• Any unforeseen structural repairs, rotten timber, or additional rooms requested outside the original written specification will be agreed in writing before extra work commences.

3. Workmanship & Property Protection

We uphold the highest standard of trade cleanliness. Clean dust sheets and carpet protectors are laid in all work areas. All work is covered by full Public Liability Insurance.

4. Payment Terms & Consumer Rights

Payment is due upon satisfactory completion and sign-off of the project, unless a staged deposit schedule is explicitly agreed for large multi-week contracts. In accordance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, all services are carried out with reasonable care and skill.
